And our affordable home prices make Traverse City a great destination, not just for retirement, but for anyone looking for a beautiful place to live with all the conveniences of a larger city, but with that desirable small-town feel. Although we’ve not felt the effects of the downturn in the housing market as badly as other parts of the state, home prices here have come down and there are great buys to take advantage of.
